Same Day Delivery $25.00 Perth Metro Only. Same day delivery is purely subject to availability. If you have an urgent order please contact us beforehand to confirm if we are able to offer this service, as it is not guaranteed. Orders must be received by 12.00 noon and it is essential that someone is available to receive the delivery or there is somewhere safe to leave it (otherwise return and redelivery fees will apply).

At checkout the shipping will automatically calculate what category you fall under based on your postcode.

We typically leave (where safe and possible) the gift at your recipient’s home if unattended, or with a colleague or reception at their workplace. The delivery drivers are experienced and use their discretion when leaving parcels, if they deem it be unsafe, or it is unable to be left due to security gates and the like, then a card will be left to collect the parcel from their local post office or agent, or redelivery is arranged. If a second redelivery is unsuccessful in Perth Metro, the third delivery attempt will be charged $10.

The exception to this rule is for parcels containing alcohol as these gifts must be signed for due to liquor regulations.

Yes, we do. Please supply name of hospital and indicate if it is public or private. The department name/ward number/room number. The recipients full name and contact number, and any other instructions – such as if the box can be left at reception etc.

If the recipient has been discharged from hospital before the gift arrives it is not the responsibility of The Bower’s Nest Gift Co to cover the cost of redelivery. Please ensure your recipient will be there to receive their gift, and in the case of an unexpected change to their circumstances, you may always call us on 0412 964 332 and if there is the opportunity to change the delivery destination, we will do our absolute best to accommodate it.

All our gift boxes are carefully checked before departure. Please contact us immediately if there has been any damage during delivery so we can rectify.


All sales are final. We go to great lengths to ensure that your gifts get to you in the condition that we have packaged them. If there has been any damage in transit, please notify us immediately.

You may select one of the cards from our range at checkout. Write your personal note at checkout and this will be hand-written on the card of your choice for you.

You are welcome to add on any item of your choosing to our pre-made boxes. 

If there is a delay in delivery from suppliers, or out of stock items, there may be gift items that are unavailable. When this occurs, we will notify you and will substitute an item with an item that is similar to, or of the same money value as the gift substituted. 

This will be discussed with you.

We encourage all our customers to either recycle, reuse or return our boxes once they have been unpacked.
If you choose to return your box to us (in the condition you received it) you will receive 10% discount off your next purchase with us

No, both the purchaser and the recipient must be 18 years or over. So, even if the gift is for an adult, legally you may not purchase it if you are under age.

We suggest 3-10 items. If we can't fit what you have ordered into a gift box, we'll be in touch with suggestions for you.

We do not recommend sending chocolate during a heat wave/extreme weather, particularly via standard shipping to remote locations (as parcels may sit in vans for several days during transit). 

Absolutely! Just add all of the gift boxes that you would like to your shopping cart and at checkout, clearly state the addresses for each gift box in the "delivery instructions" box, or if it's easier, just send us a separate email with your order number and all of the shipping details and we'll take care of it. 

If no-one is home, unless you tell us otherwise, the couriers have "authority to leave" meaning that they will leave the parcel somewhere safe at the delivery address. If there is nowhere safe to leave it (eg units/apartments), a card will be left & the parcel is taken to a nearby depot, agency or Post Office for collection or re-delivery. We understand that collecting parcels is not always convenient, but at this time, it's the most practical solution to a difficult set of circumstances.
